Cory Gunz Joins Young Money !!!!!!!!

Cory said recently in New York about why he's just now getting down with YM and CM. "Me and other ventures, a bunch of other paperwork. [Years ago] Wayne took time out of his schedule. He was promoting Tha Carter II and he took time out of his schedule to come from 'TRL' and '106 [and Park]' and come to Sony studio and lay the verse. I was about 17 and it was for my first album, a song called 'I Gotcha.' Shot out to Just Blaze. He took that and remixed it. Wayne did that for free back then. It was a situation that was supposed to go down before, but I was in paperwork with Hov at the time. One thing led to another. I was freed up and he reached out by the powers that be and now I'm here [on his label]. History is about to be made. He just kept it 100. I got nothing but respect for him. Free Wayne."

"Shout out to Wayne," he added. "Shout out to the whole Young Money family. Shout out to Mack Maine. Everybody. It's definitely official. Young Money/ Cash Money. Shout out to Wayne for giving me a shot. He kept it real. All I'mma say, that this is it. This is what it is. Everybody just better get ready."

My tribute to the legendary Bob Marley

Robert Nesta "Bob" Marley (February 6, 1945 – May 11, 1981) was a Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician. He was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the ska, rocksteady and reggae bands The Wailers (1964–1974) and Bob Marley & The Wailers (1974–1981). Marley remains the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and is credited for helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.

Marley's best known hits include "I Shot the Sheriff", "No Woman, No Cry", "Could You Be Loved", "Stir It Up", "Jamming", "Redemption Song", "One Love" and, together with The Wailers, "Three Little Birds",as well as the posthumous releases "Buffalo Soldier" and "Iron Lion Zion". The compilation album, Legend (1984), released three years after his death, is reggae's best-selling album, being 10 times Platinum (Diamond) in the U.S., and selling 20 million copies worldwide.

My TOP Favorite Bob Marley Quotes :

“One good thing about music, when it hits- you feel no pain”

“Open your eyes, look within. Are you satisfied with the life you're living?”

“The good times of today, are the sad thoughts of tomorrow.”

“In this bright future you can't forget your past.”

“Don't worry about a thing, every little thing is gonna be alright”

“You ain't gonna miss your water until your well runs dry”

R.I.P BOB MARLEY YOU WILL BE MISSED FOREVER !!!!!!! .. Love.. Mz P

Drake Backtracks On Comments He Made On His Gangsta Grillz Mixtapes Series

Drake has clarified statements he made to XXL regarding DJ Drama and his highly successful Gangsta Grillz mixtape series.

Drizzy was asked if he would be interested in doing a Gangsta Grillz mixtape. His response was not what you would expect to hear and could be easily misinterpreted.

“I just find that boring, you know? People might want to hear it, but it's just not something that I really want to give you," Drake told the mag. "I'd rather just give you something that lasts a little longer than that 'cause those mixtapes never really last much longer than six months.”

After having some time to reflect on his comments, Drake reached out to AllHipHop to clarify them.

In no way did I intend to discredit the Gangsta Grillz brand,” Drake told AHH. “I have listened to many of Drama’s mixtapes and will continue to do so for years to come.”

The Young Money rapper expressed a preference for using original beats rather that spit freestyles over another artist's tracks.

I do prefer to listen to original content over freestyles because I like to hear how different artists put together an entire song from lyrics to hooks to beat selection.

“I just personally don’t feel I could carry an entire mixtape on other people’s beats and that was the only point I was attempting to get across.”

Drake's highly anticipated debut album, 'Thank Me Later' hits store shelves June 15.

Sheek Louch Signs Solo Deal With Def Jam

It's not surprising Def Jam would be interested in Louch though. Quiet as kept he's nice on the mic and has a solid track record with his four solo albums.

I think the move will catch a lot of hip hop heads off guard simply because rumors usually leak early about something like this, but that wasn't the case here.

As you see here he made announcement on twitter .
